After a full cooked breakfast we did some cooking of ourselves on a short walk through the wharf area. The dock area was humming with goods being loaded onto rustic teak dhows by workers coping with the swealtering heat.
Went back to the hotel for a short power nap before heading for a Malling at the Dubai Mall, the largest in the world.
The Dubai mall was 4 levels of high class shopping with an impressive waterfall, complete with sculptored divers and an even more impressive aquarium. The 2 hour aquarium tour was tu meke! 10 million litres of sea water, 20,000 fish, some crocs, water rats, otters, penguins, and the occasional suba diver.

Finished the day with a nice meal at the Fish Market where we chose the fresh fish we wanted and they prepared it for us - squid, red snapper and shrimp. Hard to believe we arrived that morning.

Cromwell's sister shopping centre, right down to the waterfall :) Following you closely with all times and dates approximately converted to NZ time. While we sleep, you fly. When we wake you are in bella Italia! Happy day, safe onward journey. Patsy
